Press Release
Caparo Vehicle Technologies has appointed Cars International, based at in the heart of , as distributor of the Caparo T1 high performance road and track car.
Commenting on the appointment of its first international dealer Caparo Vehicle Technologies’ commercial director Sean Butcher said: “We have appointed Cars International not only because it deals exclusively in rare and exotic cars, but also for its reputation in delivering a high level of personalised service to its discerning clientele; this is absolutely essential for a car serving such a specialist niche. Jonathan Kaiser has a deep understanding of the supercar market and similarly Paul Osborn really understands the needs of racecar customers seeking the ultimate track day experience.”
Paul Osborn who founded Cars International 20 years ago said: “We’re delighted to have secured the franchise for the Caparo T1. It’s an extraordinary car really in a class of its own and judging by the comments we’ve received from prospective clients they await its arrival with keen anticipation of its high performance potential. They understand and appreciate the car’s exclusivity and already perceive it as the ultimate road and track car investment.”
The feedback and comments from prospective clients follows a clinic organised by Cars International in keeping with its appointment as dealer.
Fellow director Jonathan Kaiser added: “It’s probably the most sensational and usable road car being made available for sale today and on the track is certainly the closest in terms of experiencing how a high formula grand prix car delivers its performance. But I’m convinced that the majority of customers will relish the idea of being able to use this car on the road.”
Probably the world’s most exciting car project since the McLaren F1, the spiritual successor to the iconic F1 supercar is a pure and undiluted ultra-lightweight high performance two-seater designed to give racecar enthusiasts a reliable season on the track without major rebuilds or the expense of running an ex-Formula One car for the same high octane experience. Being able to drive the car on the road also eliminates the logistical problems of getting a racecar to the track.
With deposits already being taken, the hand built car has been priced at £165,000 plus local country taxes and is expected to be available to the first customers later this year.
