Three versions are available: Lorinser enhances the V6 with 3,498 cc from the standard 272 HP (200 kW) to 298 HP (219 kW). The V8 with 5,461 is also undergoing a performance treatment: Instead of 388 HP (285 kW), the mighty 5-liter engine now transfers 420 HP (309 kW) to the asphalt. A Vmax increase to 280 km/h is available both for the six and eight-cylinder version. The extra output is achieved through a modified exhaust manifold/catalytic converter unit in conjunction with altered engine maps. This results in clearly improved combustion in the upper rotational speed range.

The additional power is particularly impressive with the compressor version of the Lorinser S 06: The engine achieves 416 HP (306 kW) thus 110 HP (81 kW) more than the basic model. The top speed of 330 km/h turns the compressor version of the Lorinser S 06 into a high-class super performer. The altered compressor sets new standards also in the area of acceleration - its max. torque lies in the range of powerful 550 Nm (series: 460 Nm).
