Four seats and absolutely winter-proof – this is the VW Eos

And as the icing on the cake of the VW model range, it is even chic and sporty. But there is room for even more sportiness, elegance and power: The Eos refined by Abt surprises with a series of design elements turning the convertible into an open-air adventure with unmistakable character: The low front spoiler gives the Eos an additional touch of aggressiveness; the perfectly matched side moulding ensures that the dynamic look of the front section continues along the flanks. The rear of the Abt Eos where rear spoiler and rear apron blend into a unit is a special cast. The 4-pipe rear muffler provides the unique sound backdrop for the open air ride. The 18 and 19-inch SP and AR rims offered by Abt Sportsline constitute the ideal complement for the body kit. In addition, the interior of the convertible can be enhanced with Abt aluminum shift lever knob and floor mats.

More performance, more sportiness: The Allgaeu company offers various power packages also for the Volkswagen convertible. Whether equipped with the 2.0 liter turbo diesel or the same size TFSI engine – a power treatment by Abt turns the Eos into a true sports car. Some tuning variants are available especially for the turbo gasoline version of the engine. Instead of the standard 200 hp (147 kW), the Abt technicians manage to draw a powerful 270 hp (200 kW) from this engine. The innovative intelligent sports package represents a special highlight for the TFSI: The iS not only makes the Eos more powerful, it is also a cash saver: The chic convertible saves up to four liters of gas and – depending on the fuel quality – produces up to 240 hp (177 kW). Abt draws a powerful 170 hp (125 kW) instead of the standard 140 hp (103 kW) from the diesel.

With the Abt Eos, the Kempten VW refiners have created a car that appears elegant and dynamic from all sides. The convertible suggests its driving pleasure even before moving.
