Improving safety and reinforcing the range's value for money.

Press Release

Toyota has improved the standard features of three models in the Corolla hatch and sedan range, improving safety and reinforcing the range’s value for money.

The Ascent, Ascent Sport and Conquest grade Corollas all receive safety upgrades, while the two Ascent models also receive front power windows.

Ascent and Ascent Sport now have a standard front passenger airbag and front power windows, though the recommended retail price of each model increases by only $140.

The Ascent now has an RRP of $19,990*, while the Ascent Sport’s is $21,490*. Ascent Sport also features 15-inch alloy wheels.

Previously the Safety Option Pack, which cost $1400, included a front passenger airbag and ABS anti-skid brakes. On new Ascent models, $900* buys ABS.

Corolla Conquest already features power windows and a front passenger airbag and the hatch is available in a new colour, Bishop Blue from July production.

Conquest’s new RRP of $23,990* now also includes ABS anti-skid brakes as standard.

No specification changes have occurred on Corolla Levin and Ultima, the range’s flagship models.

Specification upgrades only feature on Corolla hatchbacks and sedans.

Production of all Corolla wagon models ceases in August 2006.

*Recommended retail prices exclude dealer delivery and statutory charges. Optional extras available at additional cost.
