The 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer SE offers alluring features at a very competitive price of $16,099 MSRP for consumers looking for performance and distinctive styling.
The spacious and comfortable interior of the well-featured 2006 Lancer is augmented on the SE with standard black Alcantara(TM) seating surfaces with vinyl bolsters, chrome inner-door levers and silver mesh instrument panel accents. Other standard premium features include a power glass sun roof, cruise control, variable intermittent wipers, 6 audio speakers, and remote keyless entry. All Lancers are well-equipped with standard air conditioning, power windows and door locks, AM/FM/CD audio, clock, center armrest with storage console and tilt steering wheel.
On the exterior, the Lancer SE enhances the sophisticated and upscale look of the 2006 Lancer with 15" aluminum alloy wheels, chrome outer-door handles and color-keyed mirrors. The "Special Edition" is available in four exterior colors: Cool Silver, Graphite Gray, Igloo White and Labrador Black.
The 2006 Lancer SE is powered by a fuel-efficient 2.0-liter, SOHC, 16-valve four-cylinder engine that provides excellent fuel economy of 34 mpg highway/27 mpg city with manual transmission. Two newly available accessory packages allow buyers of the Lancer Special Edition, as well as the ES model, to customize their vehicle. For an additional $485 MSRP, consumers can select a CD changer package that includes a 6-disc in-dash CD changer. An appearance package is available for $258 MSRP for styling enhancements including a scuff plate, front and rear mudguards and a bright exhaust finisher.
