Here are the latest photos of the next generation Mercedes S-Class coupe, the CL-Class . They are showing a prototype without any disguise, just a few strips of tape were removed by computer.

As can be seen, its styling this time will be much sleeker and more elegant - boot lid and rear end somewhat reminiscent of the Maybach - complete with a refined luxurious interior, technical equipment and visibly flared fenders.

Engines will be available in a range from a 3.7 litre V6 to the 4.0 litre V12 petrol unit, and possibly also for the coupe, a 3.2 litre V6 diesel and a 4.0 litre V8 diesel. The top of the line model is going to be the AMG version powered by a 6.3 litre V12 delivering over 600 HP.
