Don't let the German license plates fool you - these Porsche Targa S pictures were taken on public roads in the great state of California, USA!
Father and son, Daniel and Edward Allen, were motoring down some country roads when they stumbled upon a photo shoot for either a future brochure, or possible advertising campaign, and they each took one shot of the Targa with their camera. Dad (Daniel) shot the rear view, and Ed took the front photo.
Totally uncamouflaged and even sporting badges, these are the "cleanest" Targa pictures that we've seen to date. And, to top it off, what could be better than a father and son "bonding" story - especially when it involves a Porsche?
Exterior modifications over the coupe include a sharp-edged rear side-window plus the panoramic transparent roof which slides back over the rear window on the push of a button. It’s more than likely that the Targa will be available as a Carrera 4 and 2 as well as the Targa S pictured here.
