The current Opel Corsa model has been on the market since autumn 2000, and its replacement has long since been underway. Here are latest photos of the three door model during current tests in Southern Europe. The photos are showing the prototype with hardly any disguise, revealing a very sleek coupe-styling. They also allow a first glimpse of the sporty dashboard.
The new Opel Corsa is being built on the same platform as the new Fiat Punto which has become very successful particularly in Italy. Like before, the next Corsa will be available as three and five door models and offer a range of four-cylinder petrol and two diesel engines. The release of both body variants is scheduled for the 2006 Motor Show in the London Docklands.
The photos are showing a prototype with black dots for disguise. The top photo shows those dots removed by computer and a finished front grille.
