Wheels, sport springs, suspension and power increase
The very first Volvo C70’s will be delivered to dealers within a few days, and HEICO SPORTIV already has new products to individualize the C70. With the 3-part metal folding roof, the C70 is both a coupe and cabriolet in one package. Compared to its predecessor, the new car features a much more stable and stiffer chassis, which allows for upgrade modifications similar to those offered on the platform colleagues, the S40 and V50. The new C70 is a cabriolet with the best driving agility ever built by Volvo.
On time with the market intro for the C70, HEICO SPORTIV is extending the complete wheel program with the new limited edition VOLUTION TITAN wheel. Crafted in the noble graphite metallic finish, the VOLUTION TITAN light alloy wheel will be available in VOLUTION V. (8.5x20”) for the C70 (as well as the S60/V70/S80/XC70/XC90) and in VOLUTION X. (8x18”) for all Volvo models. The wheel stands in exciting contrast to the car’s body color.
With two great choices, customers can have the option of either sport springs or height-adjustable sport suspension. The suspension kit in particular provides unexpected driving fun and turns the coupe/cabrio into a “curve eating” driving machine.
For this performance you also need maximum power. By re-programming the original ECU, HEICO SPORTIV achieves a power increase up to 250 hp (stock 220 hp) and 360 Nm of torque (stock 320 Nm) on the 5-cylinder T5 Turbo. Also for the soon to be available diesel cabrio, HEICO SPORTIV is ready to offer a power upgrade program. On the D5 diesel engine, as with the S40/V50 D5, 205 hp (180 hp stock) and 400 Nm (350 Nm stock) will be reached.
Another premiere this Spring is the newly developed 4-piston sport brake kit. Featuring 4-piston calipers in the HEICO Blue for the front axle, with HEICO logo, internally ventilated and slotted 320 mm rotors, sport brake pads, and stainless steel sheathed brake lines. The brake kit is available incl. TUV-certificate.
HEICO SPORTIV is also introducing the cornering light kit, a first on a Volvo. The additional fog lamps are activated automatically when powered, or when the directional indicator is activated. This system features a built-in yaw sensor.
Further products, such as the twin outlet exhaust system, body kit, front sport grill, and several interior components are in development for the C70 and will be available this year.
HEICO SPORTIV is the worldwide leading company in modification and tuning of the premium Volvo brand. The company, located in Weiterstadt is certified by ISO 9001:2000. National sales are operated via the Volvo dealer net and with more than 35 export partners on international markets on all continents.
