On the basis of the 997
With the new GEMBALLA GT 500 on the basis of the Porsche 997 Coupé, the Porsche tuner GEMBALLA is presenting a very special sports car highlight at the Geneva Automobilsalon (2 - 12 March 2006). With its bi-turbo engine, the GEMBALLA GT 500 provides a full 500 hp (368 kW) at 6000 rpm. The Porsche from Leonberg in Swabia also draws attention to itself with the maximum torque which is at its disposal. At 4000 rpm, the driver of the GEMBALLA GT 500 already has an impressive 620 Nm at his disposal. In comparison: the basis model, the Porsche 997 has a maximum torque of 400 Nm with 4600 rpm. The model presented in Geneva is just as remarkable. The GT 500 reaches a speed of 100 km/h in just 4.2 seconds. As far as the top speed is concerned, the GEMBALLA GT 500 also makes a mark which knows no comparison: the speedometer needle only comes to a halt at 315 km/h.
In keeping with the driving performance, the GT 500 runs on 20 inch GEMBALLA Racing Wheels on the front axle in 9.0x20 ET 47 with 245/30 ZR 20 tyres. The rear axle bears wheels and tyres with the sizes 11.5x20 ET 56 and 305/25 ZR 20. A special aerodynamic packet provides the required output drive. The body kit for the GEMBALLA GT 500 comprises the GT turbo front skirt, the GT side sills with air ducts and a GT rear spoiler. All of the components were especially optimised in the wind tunnel. The GEMBALLA GT 500 also impresses with its specially adapted chassis which guarantees the greatest driving pleasure in every driving situation. The interior of the GT 500 will also invite the visitors to the Geneva Automobilsalon to stay a while. The GT 500 also has GEMBALLA sport seats, a GEMBALLA sport steering wheel and aluminium pedals, among others. The GT 500 will be presented on the GEMBALLA technology partner Yokohama´s stand 12.20 in Hall 1/2.
