New Ford Coupe-Cabriolet out in the cold
Ford has confirmed that a production version of the Vignale concept seen at the 2004 Paris Motor Show is scheduled for the end of 2006, and here it is: the Focus coupe-cabriolet, out on endurance testing in the cold climate of northern Sweden.
Though earlier prototypes we have seen have upright taillights and a boxy boot lid, the car shown here seems to bear more of a resemblance to the handsome Vignale, with softer curves and more elegantly-positioned rear lights. The car – whose final name has not yet been decided – will be built for Ford by Pininfarina in Turin.
