The Sedici Contest gets underway; the first online competition that lets you look at the world from above, created by TestawebEdv, part of the Armando Testa Group. It is the first example of collaboration between the Fiat brand and Google, one of the most important digital media in the world.
The contest is a treasure hunt played on the Web using Google Earth, the ultra-powerful software that lets you explore every corner of the Earth in spectacular satellite photographs. Participants use this sophisticated tool created by Google to search for five prizes which are hidden virtually under the snow, in Turin and all over the Olympic territory.
The lucky winners of the competition will take home four Fiat Sedici’s – the car that is the symbol of the Torino 2006 Olympic Winter Games – and an exclusive “Ferrari 360° Experience” pass, which enables two people to discover the secrets of Maranello and to experience the excitement of the Monza Grand Prix with the Ferrari team.
Taking part is easy. Just link up to the http://www.sedicicontest.it site, register and choose the exact point on the maps created by Google Earth where you think a Fiat Sedici, the brand-new 4x4 which combines the enjoyable driving and handling of a compact with the off-road performance of a Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV), is hidden.
The exact position of the prizes will be revealed on March 31, 2006, and the four competitors who were closest to the “target” will take home a Fiat Sedici (the winner will also receive the Ferrari 360° Experience pass).
