Fisker Tramonto and Latigo CS on show at LA Auto Show
FISKER COACHBUILD makes its North American debut today with its first two coachbuild designs at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The FISKER TRAMONTO -- a thrilling two-seat convertible sports car delivering 610 horsepower with top speeds of 202 mph, and the FISKER LATIGO CS
-- an uncompromising and elegant coupe delivering up to 500 horsepower.
FISKER COACHBUILD sports cars are created with a singular design language: instantly recognizable as a FISKER creation both inside and out. They are of the highest quality: created with only the best materials. They are exclusive: each model will be built in strictly limited numbers-only 150 for the world so sightings will be rare.
The FISKER TRAMONTO is a sculpted statement of exotic, two-seat, open-air motoring -- with design as its first priority. The stance is wide and low. The lines flow smoothly from start to finish -- unbroken in signature FISKER style. Deliveries of the FISKER TRAMONTO will commence in the second quarter of this year.
Next steps are already underway to build the FISKER dealer network. Appointments of new dealers in North America, Europe, Japan and other emerging Asian markets will follow those already in place. The first dealerships include O'Gara Coach Company -- Beverly Hills, Fletcher Jones -- Newport Beach, Mercedes Benz -- Long Beach, Shelly BMW -- Buena Park, and Irvine BMW.
"Our objective is to create a consistent customer experience for all of our owners which compliments the luxury nature of Fisker cars throughout the world," explains Cristina Cheever, vice president marketing and communications for FISKER COACHBUILD. "O'Gara Coach Company in Beverly Hills is a perfect example of a dealership that provides customers with a fist-class experience and selection of cars."
The new FISKER COACHBUILD Design + Development Studio in Irvine, California officially opened in December 2005 and has the capacity to provide design services for outside companies as well. "Our focus will be on designing and developing our own cars first, but as part of our long-term strategy we will provide industrial design services ranging from cars and related accessories to other luxury items," explains Henrik Fisker, chief executive officer for FISKER COACHBUILD.
