Power boost to 275 bhp and 360 Nm
Press Release
Even punchier
- Power boost to 275 bhp and 360 Nm
- Lowered suspension and set of complete wheels in 19" design
- Styling components for inside and out
The leading Ford tuning specialist WOLF from Neuenstein, Germany, is presenting its very latest creation. It is tuning the latest Focus top model ST on the inside and out whilst also giving this powerful car a power boost.
The large five cylinder turbo-assisted 2.5 litre engine already generates 225 bhp and a torque of 320 Nm in the series version. After WOLF has laid its hands on it, the peak performance goes up to an impressive 275 bhp. The torque increases to a traction power enhancing 360 Nm. The price for this extra punch is € 2750. For € 3950, the export version of the WOLF Focus ST serves up as much as 300 bhp and 386 Nm. WOLF is currently developing an exhaust system to boost the engine sound which is already enough to give you goose bumps.
At Ford, ST also stands for a sportier body design. In this respect, WOLF even has a slight edge over the manufacturer in accentuating the sporty contours of this compact hot hatch. By way of example, the tuning specialist adorns the Focus with a rear lip for € 195. What is more, the WOLF C-pillar lining for € 185 also goes well with the Focus.
Needless to say, WOLF also dabbles with the interior, where, for example, the specialists from Neuenstein fit the driver's footwell with a WOLF footrest (€ 95) and a set of pedals made from aluminium. These elements are set off by a hand brake lever made from the same material for €85. These refinements serve to enhance the look of the ST and emphasize its sporty character.
It goes without saying that the Focus ST also needs the right tyres to match. WOLF fits its STs with its most successful own-brand set of wheels "No.1 Evo" in an 8x19" design. The five-spoke "No.1 Evo" wheel rim is the perfect match for this souped up Focus. To ensure the right wheel grip, WOLF fits Pirelli size 245/30-R19 tyres. The complete set of wheels costs € 2799. For even more brisk handling, WOLF fits a sports suspension for € 168, which brings the Focus 35 mm closer to the road.
