Shelby Automobiles Model Fact Sheet

CSX1000/7500

CSX1000 and 7500 is the latest from Carroll Shelby Automobiles. This particular Cobra is offered in two models, the Shelby AC 427 S/C Cobra and the Shelby AC 289 FIA Cobra, which are branded as the CSX1000 and the CSX7500 Series, respectively. Both models are authentic recreations of the iconic sports car, which set records for muscle-power and customer appeal in the early 1960’s.

These limited production racing models influenced by the iconic 1960’s muscle car are the cornerstone of Carroll Shelby’s automotive legacy and are once again built on a hand-crafted chassis, documented with Shelby CSX VIN numbers, and a manufacturer’s statement of origin signed by Carroll Shelby.

CSX4000

In addition to the Shelby-AC Cars partnership models, Shelby Automobiles has produced its component vehicles since 1996 including the CSX4000 Series 427 S/C Cobra. This re-creation of the big-block V8 version that dominated the world’s race tracks comes standard with a high-strength fiberglass composite body with the 427’s traditional beefy fender flares (carbon fiber or aluminum bodies optional) and original frame construction. Halibrand style pin drive wheels, headers and sidepipes and an original-style wood steering wheel compliment the car’s original deisgns. Upgrades include a stronger steel frame, improved alloy components, an enhanced cooling system and additional heat shielding.

CSX7000/8000

For enthusiasts who want a modern re-creation of the car that sparked the Shelby revolution,

Shelby Automobiles offers two versions of its original 289 models – the CSX7000 Series 289

FIA Cobra (pictured left) and the CSX8000 Series 289 Street Cobra (pictured right). Both

vehicles incorporate the sleek yet sinuous lines of the original 289 versions with modern safety

features, design enhancements and performance improvements without sacrificing the dynamic

driving excitement of the originals.

The CSX7000 Series includes an integrated roll bar assembly and oil cooler system and an optional aluminum body shell in place of the standard high-strength fiberglass composite body. CSX8000 Series Cobras which mimics the street production versions of the ‘60s, can be ordered with painted heavy duty spoke rims or heavy-duty chrome spoke rims and a soft top kit for inclement weather driving. All are documented with VIN Numbers and maufactures statement of origin signed by Shelby.
