Dark brown interior and popular special features accentuates chic, high quality image

Mazda Motor Corporation announced today that sales of the 'Brown Collection' Verisa, a special edition of Mazda's 'simple, quality compact' Verisa, have commenced. The Verisa model is produced only for the Japanese market, and the special edition 'Brown Collection' version features upgrades that emphasizes its chic qualities and has an enhanced feeling of quality. The Special Edition 'Brown Collection' Verisa is available at Mazda, Mazda Anfini and Mazda Autozam dealerships throughout Japan.

The 'Brown Collection' Verisa features as standard equipment popular items in the 'dress-up (customized) package,' the existing factory-installed options. The vehicle's dark brown interior evokes a chic atmosphere, with exclusive half-leather seats, door trim and upper glove box lid that are also specially furnished in dark brown hues. Combined with a wood-colored steering wheel and center side panels, the entire package induces a deepened sense of sophistication. Customers and passers-by alike will sense the heightened feeling of quality of the 'dress-up package,' in addition to more utilitarian features such as an automatic lighting system and rain sensor-activated windshield wipers that come as standard equipment for this model.

Outline of 'Brown Collection' Verisa

Base model

The 'L' base model is powered by a 1.5-liter DOHC engine, offered with either the front-wheel-drive/ four-speed automatic transmission or the 'e' four-wheel-drive/four-speed automatic transmission.

Special equipment

The Brown Collection Verisa has an exclusive dark interior.
It features half-leather seats (with brown leather, and brown and black flat-woven fabric) with a large brown colored armrest on the driver's seat, brown and black door trim, and a brown glove box lid.

Dress-up custom package has:
Brightly colored headlight moldings (for the front/side/rear), an exhaust pipe finisher and front fog lamps with silver bezels are included.

This model also has an automatic headlight system, rain sensor activated wipers, immobilizer and water repellent treatment for the front windshield, front door glass, and door mirrors.

Body color

Body color can be selected from a total of four colors: Radiant Ebony Mica, Velocity Red Mica, Moist Silver Metallic and Snow Flake White Pearl Mica.

Factory-installed options

Mazda's Music HDD with 6 speakers and a remote control switch placed on the steering wheel is available as a factory-installed option.

Manufacturer's suggested retail prices for Verisa 'Brown Collection' models
