Mitsubishi Motors’ latest limited edition – the Platinum Pajero – is now on sale, and adds to the value offering of the entry GLX model as a top 4WD proposition.
Based on the popular GLS automatic petrol and diesel models, the Platinum Pajero adds the following desirable features:
· 17” powder coated alloy wheels,
· colour-keyed roof rails,
· chrome exterior door mirrors,
· rear roof spoiler,
· fog lamps,
· privacy glass,
· side-step illumination,
· unique “Platinum Edition” tailgate badging,
· black leather and grey alcantara suede seat trim,
· power driver’s seat,
· matching interior carpets with “Platinum Edition” embroidery,

Valued at over $5,000 these features have been added at no extra cost, ensuring the 1,500 production will be quickly snapped up by discerning 4WD buyers.
The entry GLX model is also being offered from as little as $39,990 during the Company’s May / June promotion. GLX comes equipped with either the 3.8 litre petrol, or 3.2 Direct Injection Diesel engines. Standard equipment on all Pajeros, including the entry GLX model, is power windows and exterior mirrors, air conditioning, cruise control and MATT (Mitsubishi’s All Terrain Technology that incorporates ‘Super Select II’ 4WD system, Active Stability Control that incorporates Active Traction Control and Engine Brake Assist Control, and ABS with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution).
The Mitsubishi All Terrain Technology (MATT) package inspires on and off-road confidence in all drivers.
With fully independent suspension – front is double wishbone with coil spring and stabiliser bar, while the rear is multi-link with coil spring and stabiliser bar – and a monocoque body with integrated frame, Pajero is the most car-like large 4WD wagon on the market today. It is able to deliver great on-road comfort while still providing the off-road performance that has been honed through years of success (10 times outright winner, the last five in succession) in the legendary and brutal Paris-Dakar Rally.
