Press Release

Four new models will be unveiled by GM Daewoo Auto & Technology (GM DAT) at the fifth Seoul Motor Show, which runs from April 30 to May 8. Among the 22 cars appearing on GM DAT's 2,500-square-meter stand are the T2X, a striking sport utility coupe show car, and the Statesman, GM DAT's first large luxury sedan.

The highlights also will include the S3X SUV show car, as well as the Kalos three-door hatchback and the Lacetti wagon, already known to Chevrolet buyers in Europe. In addition, the Lacetti WTCC (World Touring Car Championship) racing car will be on display.

The T2X sport utility coupe is targeted at those in their 20s to 30s who enjoy an active and individual lifestyle. It features a sophisticated appearance with crossover sport coupe styling, a masculine front, a dynamic side body line, prism-styled headlamps and an exciting interior.

"The T2X is a very attractive concept that picks up the styling cues first seen on the Chevrolet S3X which will be on the European market next year." said Hardy Spranger, Executive Director of Chevrolet Europe. "The T2X could fit very neatly into Chevrolet's European product line-up. As we did with the S3X, we will monitor public reaction closely before making a final decision."
