Enhanced standard equipment range with dual air-conditioning system and curtain airbags

Volkswagen has developed a new product range structure for the Sharan. The improved range with a better price-performance ratio should ensure that it maintains its leading position in the segment.

The Sharan now offers four equipment ranges: the new base version "Trendline", "Comfortline" for convenience-orientated customers, "Sportline" as a sporty version and "Highline" as the top-of-the-range model to meet the highest of expectations.

What's more, all four equipment ranges now have more fittings as standard: for example, "beta" radio and tinted side and rear windows in the "Trendline" and "Comfortline".

All equipment ranges now have two additional comfort and safety features as standard: the dual air-conditioning system "Climatronic", with separate controls for the front and the rear of the vehicle, and a curtain airbag system for both front and rear passengers, including side airbags in the front.

Sharan customers will not only benefit from the four enhanced equipment ranges but also from more attractive diesel and petrol engine prices: prices for all diesels will be 1,300 euro lower and 150 euro lower for all petrol engines, resulting in a six to twelve percent better price-performance ratio for customers.

In future, young families will be able to purchase the "Family Package", which includes a child seat, a luggage net and additional storage facilities 350 euro. Customers who wish to have an electric sliding / tilting glass panel sunroof in their Sharan can combine this with the Climatronic including a separate heating system for the passenger compartment for 230 euro.
