GMC, the Professional Grade division of General Motors, today awarded Kathi Nakao of Sacramento, Calif. an all-new Envoy XUV. The sweepstakes award is part of GMC's partnership with Home & Garden Television (HGTV) and the eighth annual HGTV Dream Home 2004 Giveawaysm.The Envoy XUV is part of a grand prize package in excess of $1.2 million. Along with the Envoy XUV Nakao will receive a fully furnished, custom-designed home at Cumberland Harbour in St. Marys, Ga.
Envoy XUV, an exclusive GMC product, is the most adaptable SUV ever offered with unprecedented levels of versatility, functional innovation and state-of-the-art technology. Envoy XUV includes a host of industry-first features:
- Power-sliding rear roof that easily converts the cargo area from fully enclosed to open air providing the ability to transport large, tall items upright.
- Next-generation Midgatetm with retractable power glass that folds and tumbles to create an extended cargo area that's wide enough to fit multiple 4-foot by 8-foot building sheets with the tailgate down.
- A heavy duty all-weather cargo area that includes an innovative QuickDrain system that can channel as much as 30 gallons of water per minute allowing quick clean up with a simple garden hose after hauling wet or messy items like mulch or topsoil.
- Drop or swing tailgate with power window for increased flexibility.
