Press Release
- Over 20,000 orders
- Orders for A6 and A8 models also up on last year
- Premiere of the new Audi A4 at the Paris Motor Show
- Youngest model range in the premium segment
Ralph Weyler, Board Member for Marketing and Sales at AUDI AG: "We were of course expecting a good response, but this tremendous success has taken us by surprise. We have received considerably more orders than anticipated."
But Audi is not just satisfied with the number of orders received for the new A3 Sportback. Customer orders for the new Audi A6 and the Audi A8 are also up on the previous year.
In the next few weeks the new Audi A4 will be making its public debut at the Mondial de L'Automobile 2004, the international Paris Motor Show. Audi will be appearing here with what is the youngest model range in the premium segment. "In less than six months, we have presented new products in our three biggest-selling model series. This means that we will be represented in Paris by the youngest fleet in the premium segment", says Weyler.
