BRABUS D6 (11) Performance Kit for the E 320 CDl

Engine Tuning in Combination with Exemplary Environmental Friendliness

Powerful engines and exemplary environmental friendliness don't have to be mutually exclusive: The engine specialists at BRABUS have developed the BRABUS D6 (11) performance kit for the new Mercedes E 320 CIDI with diesel particulate filter. Like all BRABUS components this tuning kit also comes with the unique BRABUS Tuning WarrantyO of three years up to 100,000 kilometers (as defined by the BRABLIS warranty conditions). After the conversion, which can be done by any authorized Mercedes Benz dealer, the sixcylinder common rail turbodiesel engine produces 250 hp / 184 kW of power at 4,200 rpm, surpassing the stock engine by 46 hp / 33,9 kW. Just as pronounced is the increase in torque. Between 1,800 and 2,500 rpm the engine delivers a peak torque of 560 Nm vs. 500 Nm in the standard engine. Thus equipped the tuned diesel car sprints to 100 km/h from rest in just 7.7 seconds and reaches an electronically limited top speed of 240 km/h. In everyday driving the 3.2 liter six cylinder turbodiesel with BRABUS D6 (11) kit overall delivers excellent performance, especially further improved elasticity at low engine speeds. This also benefits fuel consumption, which despite increased performance is on the level of the production engine. Same is true for emission levels: Just like the production car with diesel particulate filter the BRABUS tuned Mercedes E 320 CDI meets strict Euro IV emission limits. The BRABUS D6 (11) tuning kit passed the emission tests required by law with flying colors. The CDI engine stayed below the legally permissible emission levels by up to 53 percent, making it one of the cleanest diesel vehicles on the road today. The BRABUS D6 (11) performance kit is available for 2,300 Euros. A custom version is available for the S 320 CDI. An efficient complement to the BRABUS D6 (11) performance kit is the BRABUS sport exhaust system with four polished exhaust tips. The fully stainless steel exhaust system lends the common rail engine a more powerful engine sound and optimizes power yield. To add a little more sporty character to the elegant lines of the W/S 211 Mercedes E Class the BRABUS designers developed an aerodynamic enhancement kit manufactured from PurR Rim in OEM quality. The list of BRABLIS tire/wheel combinations for the current Mercedes E Class ranges from one piece 8.5Jx18 light alloy wheels in all three BRABLIS Monoblock designs to a high tech version with 8.5Jxl 9 wheels on the front and 9.5Jx2O rims on the rear axle. This combination custom developed for the new E Class by the BRABLIS suspension engineers is available with multi piece BRABUS Monoblock V and VI wheels. The front axle is fitted with highperformance tires in size 245/35 ZR 19, the rear axle features tires in size 255/30 ZR 20. In addition BRABLIS offers custom tailored BRABLIS suspension options such as lowering springs, sporty yet comfortable complete suspensions, a control module for the optional air suspension, and sport sway bars that minimize body roll. The BRABUS high performance brake system for the Mercedes E Class features 360 mm discs and six piston aluminum calipers on the front axle and four piston calipers in back. Lavishly customized interiors are yet another BRABLIS specialty. The list of available options ranges from stainless steel sill plates with illuminated BRABLIS logo to various ergonomically shaped sport steering wheels to exclusive BRABLIS interiors crafted from a combination of especially soft yet durable BRABUS Mastic leather and Alcantara.
