quattro GmbH has been creating a very special flavor of lifestyle to complement cars that sport the four-ring badge since as far back as 1983. This fully-owned subsidiary of AUDI AG offers friends and followers of the Audi brand an extensive range of high-tech products, lifestyle articles and accessories. It adds a note of individuality, sporting appeal and exclusivity to the technically advanced products for which Audi is renowned.
quattro GmbH supports Audi through its sporty products and accessories. Its aim is to satisfy exceptionally challenging requirements to an exceptionally high degree.
One of its most famous brand names made its début in 1980: the Audi quattro. This high-performance coupé not only took the world of rally competition by storm with its form of permanent four-wheel drive and added considerable weight to the Audi brand claim "Vorsprung durch Technik". The impressive quality of the new propulsive principle soon elevated the term "quattro" to the status of much more than a technical designation: quattro evolved into the brand name for out?and-out quality from a premium manufacturer. In 1983 quattro GmbH, as a fully-owned subsidiary of AUDI AG, became synonymous with an entirely independent product range.
With its many years of experience, quattro GmbH is now able to satisfy customer preferences for even greater individuality under the label of "Audi exclusive". Its range of equipment items extends from exclusive paint finishes, fine leather and stylish woods to sports-style wheels and modern communication technology. "S line" and various individual options satisfy customer demands for enhanced sports character. The range is completed by the extensive selection of lifestyle articles in the "Audi collection". quattro GmbH has in addition developed a quite exceptional high-performance vehicle in the Audi RS 6.
A new name in customization: Audi exclusive
Personality calls for individual expression, for tailormade concepts in response to particular needs. quattro GmbH's customisation range satisfies even the most exacting of requirements.
quattro GmbH customises Audi vehicles precisely according to the buyer's personal preferences and tastes. One of the most common custom options is a special paint finish in virtually any shade or hue. There is only one restriction here: the paint used must water-soluble, to ensure that it is environmentally compatible.
quattro GmbH likewise offers an extensive range of options for upgrading the interior. The range of leathers includes 17 different colours. The two leather grades Valcona and Fine Nappa are also available, as well as nine colours of Alcantara.
To match the leather, the inserts in the dash panel, the centre console and the doors can be given fine-wood appointments of natural materials such as noble woods. Bird's eyes and trunk sections are steamed, sliced into thin veneers and seasoned at length. These veneers are then moistened, flattened and trimmed. The next stage involves pressing the blank at 130 degrees Celsius. Every element is ground by hand, then cured, varnished and polished ? a process almost as intricate as crafting a violin.
Exclusive carpets in ten colours guarantee comfort and style under foot, too.
Audi exclusive for the A3
The Audi A3 with personal colour scheme has a special character over and above that of the standard specification. The leather seats suitably upgrade the appearance of the interior. The leather specification includes the head restraints, the centre armrest at the front and the door trim panels.
Audi exclusive for the TT
Drivers of the Audi TT never cease to be fascinated by its purist design and clear lines. The sheer uniqueness of this design veritably incites drivers to place their personal imprint on their car. The extensive customization range from quattro GmbH includes exclusive leather equipment for both the Coupé and Roadster, with a free choice of colour from the Audi exclusive range, and Authentic leather with moccasin stitching in the various standard colours.
Controls such as the steering wheel, gear lever knob and handbrake lever, as well as the knee cushions on the centre console, can be ordered with leather trim. The extended leather specification, which includes the underside of the instrument panel, the door trim elements and the side or rear trim panels, is moreover available in either leather or Alcantara.
Audi exclusive for the A4
Sill and bumper surfaces painted in the body colour are an exclusive way of giving the car a distinctive outward appearance. The option "Matt black exterior trim" creates a subtle sporting flavour as a result of the high-quality coating applied to various bright trim components.
The Audi exclusive leather package offers a choice of three types of leather for customising the interior. The seats, head restraints, steering wheel rim and door panels can be supplied in a wide range of colours; even control elements and the rear shelf can be trimmed in leather. Woods of a variety of grain patterns are used to customise the trim inserts and gear lever knob. A black headliner and Audi exclusive floor mats with piping also distinguish custom models from production versions.
Audi exclusive for the A6
In addition to a wide variety of paint finishes and wood trims, there are various leather trim options. The door trim inserts and rear shelf can be supplied in leather or Alcantara, with carpet to match.
The options of bumpers and sills in the body colour, more strongly tinted windows and the matt black exterior trim are various means of distinguishing the car externally.
Audi exclusive for the allroad quattro
Even in its production form, the Audi allroad quattro is quite clearly a very special car. It combines the comfort of a deluxe tourer with the ability to tackle difficult terrain. The add-on components are painted in the body colour, giving the allroad quattro a highly elegant, tasteful appearance. More strongly tinted rear windows can be supplied. There are numerous other ways of lending the interior an individual accent: the steering wheel with wood trim segments is just one of many options.
Audi exclusive for the A8
Even the top model in the Audi range can be further refined to order. For instance, with matt black trim elements and dark-tinted windows. There is also an extensive range of interior versions, right up to the all-leather equipment and trim, including Alcantara headliner and Alcantara rear shelf and control elements. There are matching carpets for every leather specification.
The mobile office in the Audi A8: advanced communication and workplace
quattro GmbH can supply an extensive office package for the Audi A8; this transforms the deluxe saloon into a mobile office. The Rear Seat Entertainment System (RSE) is one of the technical highlights. TV, radio, CD changer and navigation system can all be operated from the RSE console.
There are also connections for headphones and external output devices. 6.5-inch monitor screens are integrated into the head restraints on the car's front seats. Each can be operated independently. The car's aerial system supports mobile Internet access.
The office specification in addition includes a thermo-electric coolbox/bar compartment, a fax in the rear centre armrest and a holder for Nokia mobile phones. And there is the option of an electrically extended folding tray integrated into the reverse of the front passenger's seat back.
